Egypt One of the most captivating places to visit  in Africa is the ancient Pyramids & Sphinx located just south of  Cairo. At 560 square miles (901 square kilometers), the  national park is the most famous in all of Africa. Designated as an UNESCO World Heritage site, Ngorongoro Crater is  the largest unbroken caldera (crater caused by a volcanic eruption) in  the world with vertical walls measuring 610 meters in height. This vast  crater covers 311 square kilometers (193 square miles) and is home to  almost every species of African mammals. Seychelle  Islands Consisting  of a 115 island archipelago, the Seychelles consist of reef Outer  Islands and the soaring granite boulders of the Inner Islands. With some  of the most pristine beaches in the world, the Seychelles are a haven  for relaxation, island-hopping, and amazing water activities including  swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe/Zambia) Another UNESCO World  Heritage site, Victoria Falls is considered to be one the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Also officially  known as Mosi-oa-Tunya (the Smoke that Thunders), Victoria Falls is the  largest waterfall in the world with a height of 360 feet (110 meters)  and a width of 5,600 feet (1,706 meters). The best time to visit is when  the falls are at their peak during May and June or from July to  September when the falls are in seasonal transition.
